November makes us pause to remember and appreciate those who have sacrificed to protect our country, they are true heroes. We celebrate these military heroes as our family, our friends and our colleagues. It it with great honor that we recognize the military heroes within our FMCNA family, the skills and values that they bring our team are invaluable.
Meet a few of our military heroes:
Tony Gibbs - U.S. Army

Tyrone "Tony" Gibbs is a Registered Nurse, Home Therapy Program Manager with Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC). Tony has been with the company since May of 2004. Before joining the FKC team, he was a member of the United States Army for 5 active years and 13 years in the United States Reserves. Tony has been recognized by his co-workers and peers for the integrity he brings to his role every day, the integrity he learned during his service to our country. Learn more about Tony's story |
Andrew Reynolds - U.S. Marine Corps

Andrew Reynolds is a Patient Care Technician (PCT) with our Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC) team. He joined the company in January 2019 and in a short time has made a huge impact. Andrew served four years in the United States Marine Corps, it was this time in the military that prepare him for his career caring for our patients on the front line. Mark Shaw - U.S. Air Force

Mark Shaw is a Master Social Worker supporting the patients and family members of our kidney care clinics. Mark and has been with Fresenius Medical Care since June 2009 and has established trust and respect among his colleagues as well as his patients. Mark's military career began with four years in the Air Forces as a K9 Officer in Madrid, Spain and Incirlik, Turkey. He then served 13 months in support of Operation Desert Storm. Mark comes from a military family and believes that many of the skills he has developed while in the Air Force have helped him find success in his role with Fresenius Kidney Care. Steven MacLeod - U.S. Army

Steven A. MacLeod is a Facilities Security Coordinator with Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA). Starting out as a contractor in security, Steven used the skills he gained in the US Army to pursue a full time role and begin a rewarding career with FMCNA. Steven was drawn to our culture and value as an employer to offer professional growth with personal meaning, this was exactly what he was seeking as he transitioned from the military to civilian life. Jennifer Bayonne - U.S. Army Reserves

Jennifer Bayonne served in the United States Army Reserves for 13 years and completed two tours of duty. Rising through the ranks, she finished with the title of Staff Sargent. What's equally impressive is that Jennifer worked as a Patient Care Technician working on the front line to support patients in our Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC) clinics during her entire military career. Jennifer earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing while serving and grew her career to become a Clinical Manager leading a FKC clinic team. Learn more about Jennifer's story |
Mark Johnson - U.S. Army

Mark Johnson is the Director of Talent Acquisition for our Fresenius Kidney Care West Division. Not only is Mark a valuable leader in our company, but he is also a proud veteran. Mark’s successful career with Fresenius Medical Care North America is built on the strong foundation of his time in the military. Mark comes from a family of military members and knows that the military has equipped him with the skills he needs to excel in his leadership role. Chad Humphrey - U.S. Army

Chad Humphrey is a Senior Director of Care Navigation for Fresenius Health Partners (FHP). He served in the United States Army for close to seven years, finishing with the title of Infantry Captain. Four and a half years ago he joined the FHP team to lead a Care Navigation group, his resume may not have had the previous experience for the role, but his time in the military over qualified him.
