PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Contributes to the planning, implementation, and management of training programs to promote quality patient care and achievement of corporate goals, with adherence to policies and procedures using generational learning strategies for all specialties and modalities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solution Development: Design, build, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate) to streamline processes and solve business challenges.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to develop complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models, providing actionable insights from raw data.
  • Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) to improve business efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Custom App Development: Develop custom canvas and model-driven apps using Power Apps with a focus on user-friendly interface design and seamless integration with data sources.
  • Scripting and Customization: Apply coding skills using DAX, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and PowerFx to customize solutions and extend Power Platform capabilities.
  • SharePoint: Create, manage, and customize SharePoint sites and communication hubs to enhance team collaboration, document management, and internal communications across the organization.
  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration between Power Platform applications and other systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure) for end-to-end business solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure that solutions meet security and compliance standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure that solutions align with business objectives.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical design, configurations, and user guides.

    • Day to day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, regional and facility staff and physicians.
    • The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
  • This position requires between approximately 25% travel.

SUPERVISION:

  • Responsible for the direct supervision of staff, as applicable.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Position available to both nursing and non-nursing professionals.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Experience in creating a business solution that seamlessly integrates SharePoint data sources, PowerApps applications, and PowerBI dashboards to drive business insight.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps).
  • Proficiency in DAX, PowerFx, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  • Understanding of data modeling and data visualization techniques.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 integration.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse (Common Data Service).
  • Certification in Power Platform or related Microsoft technologies is a plus.
