Meet Janel

Janel is a Clinical Manager that started in 2001 and has worked her way up to a Clinical Manager.

LET’S HEAR WHAT SHANNON HAD TO SAY:

Q: Why did you join the FMCNA team?

A:While working on a Med Surg floor at a hospital, we took care of many HD patients.  I wanted to learn more about the patients I took care of, so I shadowed at a local dialysis unit.  They lured me in.

Q: How do you feel that your role is a “vital part” in supporting our patients and our company?

A: As a Clinical Manager, I travel around our Indianapolis clinics training and supporting staff, as well as completing audits.

Q: Describe an experience or feeling that stands out when thinking of your career with FMCNA, it could be in relation to one of our four pillars (below) or simply a story that describes why you do what you and why you choose FMCNA to do it with.

A: I really enjoy growing our new Clinic Managers.  It easily becomes overwhelming when trying to learn a new role.  I have many years of experience and work with a great group.

Q: Have you experienced professional growth with personal meaning in your role? if so, how?

A: I have grown to appreciate the differences throughout all our clinics.  We all face different challenges at each clinic.

Q: Do you feel that your role allows you to be a partner in caring? If so, how?

A: I’ve had the pleasure of getting to meet many patients and hear their stories as I move throughout the clinics.
