Mendy Bradley, Product Manager in the Renal Therapies Group, has been with us since 2009! Her work in developing programs and resources, especially in light of Covid19, are vital to the success of not only our Healthcare Professionals, but to our Patients as well. Her growth and development through the years is proof-positive that we are more than our roles, we are family.
LET’S HEAR WHAT MENDY HAD TO SAY:
Q: Why did you join the FMCNA team?
A: I joined FMCNA as a contractor in 2009. It did not take long for me to feel welcomed and appreciated. I knew I wanted to be part of the FMCNA family long term. I have had the opportunity to work with many great individuals, some whom are leaders that have shown compassion, dedication and believe that family is of fundamental importance. Working with others that share the same values has made working at FMCNA a great experience.
Q: How do you feel that your role is a “vital part” in supporting our patients and our company?
A: My role is a vital part in supporting our patient’s well-being, although what I do is not in a direct connection with them, I trust and believe in the products and knowledge that does reach patients to be the best for them. Educating and supporting those who do have a direct connection with our patients is vital to the patient’s journey.
Q: Describe an experience or feeling that stands out when thinking of your career with FMCNA.
A: Every relationship should be built on a foundation of trust. It’s one of the main reasons I have been able to grow in my career and have been able to build great relationships, not only with my team but also with cross functional teams. The confidence that we have in each other has allowed us to build a strong relationship. Thinking of these uncertain times where we’ve all had to work from home so unexpected, and adapt to the different working environments. We quickly planned on how we were going to adjust to the many different changes that the pandemic brought forward. Never forgetting to connect on a personal level to ensure that we were all ok. This creates a positive work culture and I feel proud to work with a team that cares not only for our patients but also cares for their employees.
Q: Have you experienced professional growth with personal meaning in your role? If so, how?
A: I have definitely experienced professional growth with personal meaning. By joining FMCNA I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with many marketing leaders. Many of who to this day I admire very much, and learned many great things from them. I continue to work hard and have expanded in my role and my responsibilities. The support and guidance that I have had throughout the years has given me the confidence to truly believe in myself. I hope down the road to motivate others and provide guidance and knowledge especially to young women and guide them to find their confidence and to believe in themselves.
Q: Do you feel you or your team/department leads, innovates, succeeds? If so, how?
A: As part of the Renal Pharmaceuticals Marketing Team we continue to succeed year over year. We have created many outstanding programs and resources to support health care professionals to help educate them in educating patients. Even during the many challenges that Covid19 unveiled, we were able to adapt and have developed a wide range of digital resources to continue to support those who support our patients.
Q: Do you feel that your role allows you to be a partner in caring? If so, how?
A: Knowing who you are doing something for and why is a rewarding feeling. Specially when you are passionate about it and you know that it will make a difference. This is what motivates me every day to continue to make an impact in our patients lives.
