Meet Vladimir

Vladimir Francois is a Talent Aquisition (TA) Coordinator with FMCNA and has been with the company since 2017. Starting as a Transportation and Safety Specialist, he knows how crucial a role our drivers play when it comes to delivering dialysis supplies in a timely matter. So when he transitioned to a Talent Aquisition Coordinator, he knew what type of person to hire. Now Vlad shares his story on how his job helped him grow in not only his career but as a person too!

Q: Why did you join the FMCNA team?

A: When I first joined FMCNA, I was looking for something new. I spent the previous year as a paralegal and realized that it was time for a change. I started as a Transportation and Safety Specialist, and after two and a half years, I made the transition to the talent acquisition team. I am still supporting the transportation side of the company, so it was a smooth transition. FMCNA does a great job of keeping their employees engaged and provides ways for them to grow within the company.

Q: What do you like about recruiting?

A: Being a recruiter allows me to be on the ground floor of the company’s growth. Having a hand in the hiring process, whether it’s scheduling an interview or onboarding a new candidate, putting the proper people in place to help the company expand is a great feeling. 

Q: What do you like about recruiting for FMCNA? – Why choose to hire for FMCNA over another company?

A: Recruiting for FMCNA helps internal and external candidates learn more about all we do when it comes to kidney research and renal care. FMCNA does a lot of charitable work and invites guest speakers to share their kidney experience, and that helps candidates see us as more than just another company.

Q: Have you experienced professional growth with personal meaning in your role? If so, how?

A: After three years, I feel that this company has helped me grow so much as a person and as an employee. I did not have a lot of experience when I first joined the company, but FMNCA provided a lot of training and allowed me to attend seminars that helped me expand in my role. FMCNA provided a new direction as well as a guide that enables you to succeed. I started in 2017 with the Environmental, Health, and Safety department, and that allowed me to learn and grow so I could be a productive member of my current department. 

Q: What do you want candidates to know about FMCNA?

A: One thing candidates should know about FMCNA is that you are more than just another employee. FMCNA does a great job of identifying the goals of a person and helps them achieve it in various ways.
