MEET PLINIO

Plinio Galindo is a Warehouse Supervisor for Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA) in our distribution center in Apple Valley, CA. Plinio has been with the company for two years and has already advanced in his career from a warehouse worker to the Warehouse Supervisor. Plinio is a wonderful example of how career growth at FMNCA and how every role is a vital one when it comes to our employees. We are happy to have Plinio on our team!

Let's hear what Plinio has to say:

Q:  Why did you choose FMCNA as your employer?

A: I have a passion for helping others and I was looking to join a company that would be closer to home. At the same time, I was looking to apply to a company that would also have the opportunities to learn and grow within.

Q: How do you feel that your role is a “vital part” in supporting our patients and our company?

A: I feel very committed and involved in supporting Fresenius with every action taken daily, any little effort that we take as individuals makes a final impact on our patients. It is important for me to provide efficient and great quality service to our patients and create a flawless transition from the distribution center, right to the patient. I feel I am a vital part of supporting our patients and our company because I have the input in providing top quality service right from our distribution center in Apple Valley California.

Q:  What about your role makes you “A Partner in Caring” at FMNCA?

A: I am proud and honored to be part of the FMCNA team. What brings joy to me is that in the trajectory of my two years with the company, my greatest strength is helping others. Knowing that everything that we do has a big impact on those that need our service is what motivates me and makes me want to continue to excel in my job roles.

Q:  What kind of career growth have you experience while working at FMCNA?

A: Our company is growing and innovating, therefore we must have an open mind and be aware that we must evolve along with the company. It is all about bringing new ideas and improvements to our company to better our service and output. In the two years with Fresenius, I have worked in different positions in our DC at Apple Valley California. I started with the company as a warehouse worker and quickly picked up different tasks like offloading containers, scrapping, and housekeeping. I had the chance to work on the receiving department and as an order selector. I then changed from the morning shift to the night shift and took on a different responsibility as a transportation clerk.

Q:  What do you enjoy most about being a Warehouse Supervisor?

A: Working closely with warehouse staff, transportation team, drivers’ fleet, and management staff gave me a complete viewing perspective of how our 5150\5250 DC operates. I can see the bigger picture of the process that involves serving our patients and partners. By continuing and evolving success story with Fresenius will continue. Now as a supervisor, it is my duty to empower others in creating self-professional growth as well as create a positive impact on our patients with the help of FMCA.
