Ethan’s motivated to develop completely new ideas. And a big part of what he likes most about his career at Fresenius Medical Care is the support he gets to innovate. Currently, he’s working on creating a prototype for a new dialysis system. It’s been his favorite project because the product has the potential to greatly improve hemodialysis patient lifestyles and allows him to develop completely new ideas rather than extend existing ones.

Bringing new healthcare products to the North American market inspires Karlee to do her best, every day. Currently, she’s working on an exciting and interesting technology called HDF therapy. It’s been used successfully in Europe, and now she’s part of the team at Fresenius Medical Care making the therapy available to patients in the United States.

Collaborating with an engineer in Germany or a design quality manager in Boston is the part of his job that Perry looks forward to most. He loves knowing that he has teammates around the world working alongside him on products that make treatments better and help people get the best care possible. His favorite project? Working on the CLiC. It was a real technical challenge for the team to miniaturize the CLM III monitor and move all the functions down into a small package, all while making it easier for the customer to use.

What does Horst value about working as an engineer at Fresenius Medical Care?
